Accessibility Statement
Popmenu, Inc. ("Popmenu") builds and hosts websites for various restaurant businesses, including the website at seasons-of-durango.popmenu.com (the "Website"). As with any website pages built and hosted on the Popmenu platform, the pages of the Website that are on the Popmenu platform are built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 ("WCAG"), which are industry-leading guidelines for making Web content more accessible to people with disabilities, and the information and communication technology standards under Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act ("Section 508 Standards"), which are the guidelines the federal government uses to make its own websites more accessible.
Popmenu has taken a number of steps to enable those who use a keyboard solely for navigation, require accommodations for certain vision needs, or are using assistive technologies such as screen readers to more easily interact with the features of the platform. Open source tools such as Lighthouse are implemented into our development process, and our development team is trained to use these tools to develop features for keyboard-only browsing and screen reader software. We also periodically test and review features of the platform using keyboard-only browsing and screen reader software, including JAWS for Windows and VoiceOver for Mac and iOS.
In addition, websites on the Popmenu platform share a base set of features that have been manually evaluated using a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT), which is used to analyze conformance to Section 508 Standards. The resulting Accessibility Conformance Report indicates that interactive features common across all websites on the Popmenu platform, including the pages of the Website that are on the Popmenu platform, conform to Section 508 Standards.
Moreover, automated testing is performed via the open source Lighthouse tool, which helps to ensure new features and platform updates remain conformant with WCAG, while also identifying potential accessibility concerns relating to design elements of specific website customizations. Every page of every site on the Popmenu platform is automatically tested via Lighthouse at least once per month.
Please note that Popmenu tests only features of the site that are built into the Popmenu platform, and cannot address the accessibility of any third-party sites to which the Website may link or third-party applications or widgets that may be embedded in the Website (ex: toasttab.com, OpenTable). Seasons of Durango will need to contact those third-party sites and application/widget providers directly to inquire about their accessibility.
